Recognizes: (1) the 50th anniversary of the accomplishment of describing the structure of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), the essential completion of the sequencing of the human genome in April 2003, and the development of a plan for the future of genomics; and (2) the sequencing of the human genome as one of the most significant scientific accomplishments of the past 100 years.Expresses support for the goals and ideals of Human Genome Month (April 2003) and DNA Day (April 25, 2003).
